Agra is used to be the capital city during the mughal reign and having an old infrastructure at present to see in the old city of Agra. The old city is famous for its many markets connecting each other where we can find very old shops, some are almost more than 100years old. The heritage old city walk tour gives you an experience of old Agra where you can see the old Jama masjid , paan bazaar, lord Shiva temple, spices bazaar and as well the old Saree shops. 
The old city used to be the hub of Sarees border work which in Hindi called as “KINARI” basically the ‘KINARI’ work is applied on the edges of a fabric to create fancy patterns and is popularly used in edging Bridal Sarees and Lehengas. During mughal times it is used to be the hub of this saree work and till now their generation are carrying forward the style of work their ancestors used to do.

Our chauffer will pick you up from your hotel in delhi-NCR and drive you to Agra via Yamuna express way for the day tour to agra the duration of journey is approx 3hrs drive to Agra.

As the old city tour is for 2hours and basically done in the evening time so before that our representative/guide after meeting you in Agra will take you for the visit of Mehtab Bagh, Mehtab Bagh is the last of 11mughal built gardens along the Yamuna river, the crescent-shaped Mehtab bagh was initially designed as the ultimate viewing place of the Taj Mahal.
Mehtab bagh(Moonlight Garden) was built by Emperor babur in the early 1500s and the width of the gardens perfectly aligns with those of the Taj Mahal. It was then famously known as the “moonlight pleasure garden” when Emperor Shah jahan identified it as the ideal site from which to admire the Mausoleum.

Evening hours: City tour starts from red fort with rickshaw ride.

The Agra walks starts from the Jama Mosque located in the historic core of Agra, it was built by Jahanara begum, Padshah begum(first lady) of the mughal Empire, during the reign of her father, Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan
After the look of Jama Mosque you will see the old paan bazaar continued by famous local Saree shops which are famous for their ‘KINARI’ work. After that you have a look over the famous lord Shiva Mandir commonly named as ‘Shri Mankameshwar Mandir ’ is one of the ancient temple.
Later you will see many other local shops in which some are from the mughals era. Before ending to the Sightseeing you will see the old spices bazaar which is famous for its natural spices.
